Procera® AllCeram combines excellent strength with beautiful esthetics. The material consists of 99.5 percent pure aluminum oxide and is biocompatible, thereby ensuring excellent long-term esthetics. Procera® AllCeram is translucent giving the tooth a natural appearance. It is excellent for concealing underlying surfaces, such as amalgam and root fillings. Procera® AllCeram is easy to work with because you can prepare and cement like an ordinary PFM saving valuable chair time. Since Procera® AllCeram was introduced in 1994, two million units have been produced.
Throughout history man has tried to recreate the function and beauty of natural teeth.
Procera® AllCeram is as close as you can come -- only nature itself can do better.
We now have the solution - Procera® AllCeram
The secret behind Procera® AllCeram is its unique combination of strength and beauty.
Over the last few years, new technology has given dental porcelain better properties. Until now, however, porcelain coated ceramic copings have been neither strong enough, nor durable enough for widespread use.
The coping is produced in an industrial process known as the Procera® technique, which ensures optimal fit, great strength, non-porosity and has the ability to transmit light without being transparent.
Due to the strength in the core material, Procera® AllCeram can be recommended for prosthetic reconstructions anywhere in the mouth.
More and more patients are asking for constructions made of material not containing metal or other alloys. Procera® AllCeram is made of a biocompatible material (comparable to titanium) which minimizes the risk of allergic reactions.
The translucent coping offers remarkable esthetic characteristics. When combined with Procera® AllCeram Porcelain these characteristics become apparent. In order to recreate the beauty of natural teeth, the porcelain has been formulated to make the most of the coping's inherent potential.
Because the porcelain is specially adapted to the coping's translucence and fluorescence, Procera® AllCeram Porcelain opens an entirely new era of using porcelain in dentistry.
Flexural strength of different dental all-ceramic materials
In order to document the properties of the product, Procera® AllCeram has been put through a number of tests over several years.
The most interesting study regards flexural strength, which was measured to be 687 MPa.
(Wagner, TM Chu. Biaxial flexural strength and indentation fracture toughness of three new dental core ceramics; The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, August 1996).
To show our confidence in Procera® AllCeram and to prove our promise, Procera® offers a 5-year warranty.
